When I was eight the family moved to my daddies pride and joy.
A new house.Not rented but owned. Each of us three children had a cat. Within 3 days all 3 disappear Cat Lesson # 1. Cats are stupid and do not adapt. Your only hope is the animal shelter or a phone call from from a kind hearted stranger. Good Luck

hmm... this is what I see. Your dad probably doesn't like cats. Furthermore he doesn't want pets pissing in, pooping on and screwing up his "pride and joy. Sounds like you and your siblings have some issues to discuss with your dad.
