Battle of the Blinds
I seem to get into a lot of tricky situations when it's just me and the other blind, but that's cause I'm a stupid monkey.
Here's the situation. 10 handed, .5/1 NL on UB I'm in the BB with J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], folded to the SB who completes. Two to the flop, pot is 2 dollars. Flop: K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] SB (~78) checks I (~110) bet 2 dollars, SB calls. Turn: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] SB Checks, what do I do here? |

Re: Battle of the Blinds
I check and call his river bet if he bet the river. If he check the river I might do a little bet or check it.
The pot is small and this flop is a good way to lose a lot of $$. betting the turn might put you in trouble if he reraise you. better keep the pot small in the case. |

[/ QUOTE ] why are you scared of a flush? all the guy did is check call the flop then check the turn. he could literally make that move with 50 different hands. in fact, if he picked up a flush draw on the flop, HU, he would be more likely to bet it than check call. bet the turn. |

Re: Battle of the Blinds
I agree with betting the turn, but how much do I bet on the turn?

Re: Battle of the Blinds
the pot is 6 dollars, so i would bet around 4. even if he called the flop without a pair, almost half the time he picks up a flush draw on the turn. so you are value betting vs a flush draw, a 4, and a king.
