Default horrible, standard, or inbetween? (preflop J9o)

Eurobet/Empire 30/60.

The blinds are TAGs. 3 really bad/passive players limp in. I have J9o on the button and I limp.

Thoughts?

I dunno--there's going to be another hand in a minute or two that is better that you could play instead of that J9o. But either way, I don't think it will add or detract much from your hourly rate as long as you can get away from the hand if you're getting lots of heat when a J or 9 flops. Then again you could make alot of bets from the suckers who limped when you in fact do hold the best hand. I would rather have a hand that I could confidently put in many raises with against those weak players.

even against bad players your going to be often dominated here, but I mean if not a horrible call nor is it standard.

if they are really fishy and weak I guess it's fine.

Now, I don't even play 30/60 -- but I don't understand why you would call here, if you're going to play it you might as well raise or not play the hand it all. I doubt you want the blinds to call behind you with that hand especially unsuited.

In fact, just fold. You're going to be dominated a lot of the time post flop, especially when those blinds call and still lose to the passive players too often.

I'm folding here as my default play. But looking at this particular spot, one might be able squeak out a slight bit of value with this call against bad passive players.

I'd say you're right at the line. Unruly opponents in the blinds make me want to fold, tame ones make me want to play.
