Video Card problems, arg!

So I got another 2001fp. Hence I needed a video card that allowed dual display. So I got a ATI Radeon 7000. Well, when I install in the Blue screen of death comes up and it says "unmountable boot volume". THen, even when I put in my old video card it still says that, and I have to book the system by disc and repair it. Whats the deal?

Oh, one thing I just thought of. I haven't tried to repair it with the new card in. Should I try that?

does your MOBO support the video card you are trying to add?

How can I know? I'm really unfamiliar with this stuff. I figured if the video card was AGP my motherboard would support it. My old video card is a geforce2, thats AGP too, right? Thanks.
