low float runners into 2005:dd on them as well
Merry christmas guys, heres some small caps that i am loading up on for before the january effect comes into play:smtx, spab, rmkr, mwav, digi, quot, lvlt, and vti.to.....good trading in 2005.
Look at a 5 year chart of smtx, pretend you bought smtx in december and sold in january, in each of those 5 years you would have made a real nice return, i will be selling my smtx for a tidy profit in january, probably the end of the second week of january when hedge funds [shorts] clear their books..........let me know what you think.... |

digi [digital impact]
this is the most undervalued tech play i can find out there, 27mm in cash many large customers like microsoft and ibm, they have the only anti-phishing technology there is and the u.s. government is fighting phishing big time [phishing is tricking email and internet users into giving up identity to criminals re: identity theft] http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=digi http://www.digitalimpact.com/ heavy accumulation the past month: http://stockcharts.com/def/servlet/SC.web?c=digi,uu[m,a]daclyyay[de][pb50!b200][vc60][iUb14!La12,26,9]&pref=G http://www.stockta.com/cgi-bin/analy...amp;mode=stock ALL INSTITUTIONAL BUY SIGNALS!!!!!: http://thomson.finance.lycos.com/lyc...p;x=4&y=10 |

Re: low float runners into 2005:dd on them as well
next low float runner is smtx, look for huge moves up over the next few weeks into 2005, a great pick up for a move back upto $3 minimum.:
smtx looking very attractive right now: insiders own 92% of shares out??smtx is gonna take off big time!!!!! http://www.nasdaq.com/asp/Holdings.a...cted=SMTX& ;page=holdingssummary count on a real strong close for smtx, mm's just sitting and scooping up some cheap shares of which there aren't many even after the runup from 1.90 to 2.98 2 weeks ago, very bullish http://www.americanbulls.com/StockPa...MTX&Market Ticker=NASD&TYP=S http://www.stockta.com/cgi-bin/analy...um1=1&cobr and=&mode=stock no insider selling in last 8 months and over 5mm institutional shares purchased last quarter: http://finance.yahoo.com/q/it?s=SMTX almost whole float held by institutions and insiders!!!! http://finance.yahoo.com/q/mh?s=SMTX |

Re: low float runners into 2005:dd on them as well
littlerayray,
I was reading your posts in this thread and they sound like you have done plenty of research and are very informed on the topic...however I am new to stock trading and was wondering what a lot of it meant...I know what insiders are etc but dont know what a float is and the like. I know that may be way too much for you to explain and understand that but was wondering if you could post a link or something that might help to fill me in on this matter... Again thanks for your time and the good post...any information you can give to help me on my way would be greatly appreciated! |

Re: low float runners into 2005:dd on them as well
no problem card, i enjoy talking stock, a float is the number of shares outstanding minus the shares held by insiders, shares in escrow, by institutions and large shareholders [basically the float is the shares that are tradeable intraday.....] this link is to yahoo finance showing the key statistics for smtx:

Re: low float runners into 2005:dd on them as well
Ray thanks for those links. Stockta.com and zacks.com look like they are particularly helpful. After I saw your post on SMTX I did my own DD and liked it for the short term and picked up some shares. Did you use a screener to come up with your '05 low float runners?
Good luck in '05 |
