Kid's Gifts - Age 7 to 9

I have a bunch of nieces and nephews in the 7 to 9 age range. I have no idea what types of toys kids in this age range like. Any suggestions?

My daughter 6.5 2nd grade likes these things called Bratz, sort of like Barbie's with attitudes.

seriously though, your posts just make it sound like you are 20 yrs old tops. maybe you are and you still have kids, i don't know, it was just a shock to me.
