Default HU primer

Is there one somewhere?
I'm looking for basic things like pflop strategy for what to check/call/raise/3bet etc. from either position.
What to do against overly aggressive or passive players, etc.
Postflop general strategies and the like.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hey tansoku,

HU is a very complex matter. There is almost no literature on the topic...the best way to learn is to play. There are 0.02/0.04 games on stars, and there are play money tables on Prima.

The best HU players adapt to their opponent's weaknesses. It's important to recognize in what ways your opponent makes mistakes and exploit them. If he is unfoldable, any A-hi or pair hand is worth betting to charge him from drawing to a better pair. If he plays tightly postflop it's important to loosen up one's bluffing/semibluffing to exploit it, etc.

Also, get involved in HULA(heads-up limit association) or one of the variants thereof here on 2+2. They run every couple of months.

Good luck. Play hands, post questions, and study your game. There does not exist much in the way of tutorials for HU play.
