David Brent from "The Office" on BBC. It's on DVD and well worth renting. There are two seasons of six episodes each. Hilarious stuff (and I'm not usually a big British humor fan).

I think Larry David is hilarious on "Curb Your Enthusiasm."
I think that the supporting characters make the show. Like Millhouse, Mr. Bookman (the library detective from Seinfeld), Zap Branagan from Futurama (way underrated), and Vinnie from Doogie Howser M.D. |

I'd forgotten about Don Knotts as Barney Fife on the old Andy Griffith Show. A remarkably funny character.
Also the guy who played "Angel" on The Rockford Files. |
