David Brent from "The Office" on BBC. It's on DVD and well worth renting. There are two seasons of six episodes each. Hilarious stuff (and I'm not usually a big British humor fan).

I think Larry David is hilarious on "Curb Your Enthusiasm."

I think that the supporting characters make the show. Like Millhouse, Mr. Bookman (the library detective from Seinfeld), Zap Branagan from Futurama (way underrated), and Vinnie from Doogie Howser M.D.

I'd forgotten about Don Knotts as Barney Fife on the old Andy Griffith Show. A remarkably funny character.

Also the guy who played "Angel" on The Rockford Files.
