Tony Roma's? That's pathetic. Go to Korean BBQ or King Egg Roll (gotta get there before dark because they close) instead.

"tony roma's, a place for ribs"

what a terrible slogan. it's not even the place for ribs. just a place.

reminds me of denny's slogan....

"Come to Denny's...we're open"

There's a really good Korean soft tofu place in Santa Clara too. Forgot the name though...

I've eaten at a decent sushi place right on First, too. Can't be five minutes from Bay 101.

impossible. there are no good sushi places that close. I know, i work across the street from B101 and have looked. There are two or three near, but they are overpriced crap.

Kubota's at 5th & Jackson (Japantown)is the best japanese restaurant in the Bay area. The sushi, teryiaki, and tempura are out of this world. If you haven't been, go ASAP. I was there last night. I especially recommend the San Jose Tofu, the burdock chips, and the marinated skirt steak (forgot the name). MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
