I call the river. AJ and TT are both betting this river occasionally.

I call because I've seen alot of players 3 bet on the button with middle pairs and up. How about raising the flop, checking the turn, and calling/bet the river. Any thoughts?

why not raise the flop for info? with this guy, if he re-raises you, you're probably dominated or drawing dead.

Now that I think about it a little more. I agree with the fold on the river, but still like the idea of raising the flop for info. Sorry. Gettin late.

this used to be my default line, but i realized how bad it was.

with this flop it's a typical way ahead/behind scenario. raising will let him fold TT/JJ and the like but you'll get 3bet or CRed on the turn by everything else. the only hands we'd want to raise this flop against is AJ/AT and those don't usually 3bet out of the BB against an UTG raise heads up.

Joker's right about not raising on the flop. You want to win the maximum from the hands that you are way ahead of to make-up for the times you lose.

Whether or not I show down here depends on my opponent's average aggression. I would call river usually, because often times the BB in this situation will try to get you to fold better hands. People seem to be more aggressive in blind steal/re-steal situations.
