Default Do you take the coin-flip?

You are sitting at a cash game with a 100xBB stack.

UTG has gone all in for 100xBB.

It is folded to you on the button with 55.

You know two things:

#1 You have a tell on UTG that is 100% reliable and says that he holds AK.
#2 If you call, both blinds will fold.

Depends on the rake. With a normal 5% rake, this is an easy call.

It's not a coinflip. I'm favorite. Call.
(unless I can't handle the loss)

Of course, this is silly. It would never happen.

I thought this would be a question like "I have AK and there's dead money." As it is, this is an easy call.

Most absolutely depends on your love for variance.
I.E. I probably wouldn't.

edit: factor rake in, I definitely wouldn't.

The mere fact that you even posted this question is unbelievable.

If you constructed an exactly 50:50 situation where i made no difference whether you called or not the correct decision is to call if the hand you hold is bad (to encourage action later as calling a 100bb bet with 55 certainly would) and fold if your hand is strong.

Obvioulsy this would never happen in a game situation so its a little pointless.

I always pass on +ev situations in cash games. Passing on EV is the only way to make money. Fold fold fold. Wait until you are certain he has AK again and then call with AA. Hopefully he doesn't spike a couple kings. Hell, I'd fold AA too now that I think about it.
