Yup, obviously it's dependent on the size of the stacks/ river bet but that would be my plan.

Couldn't disagree more there if you smooth call with queens you need to fire the flop even if an Ace comes. Lets face it unless your opponent holds AK/AA he's not going to fall in love with the Ace and you can take it down.
