The Best \"I Feel Like $hit\" Mixes/Songs
I love a good mixed cd filled with "i feel like $hit" songs on them. Anyone have anyfavorites? When you're depressed what do you listen to?

I never get depressed, but if I did, I would probably listen to a lot of Iggy Pop. And Leonard Cohen.

How could that fucker stab himself? I mean, he was such an overdose/slit wrist sort of fellow. And then he gets all gruesome and directly violent in his suicide. Way out of character.

Nine Inch Nails and lots of songs from the Talking Heads "Remain in Light" album.
Early Stones is good too. Course that's all stuff just to increase the downspin or echo it. If I want to pull out of it instead of crash and burn, I'll pick something else.

Nothing pumps me up like Rage Against the Machine. I wish I listened to it when I'm depressed. I usually just listen to sappy depressing stuff that makes me more depressed, but makes me feel better at the same time. Weird.

it doesn't matter which kind of sad. And I personally feel like listening to that kinda music when i wanna stay in that kinda funk. I mean, who doesn't love feeling sorry for themselves?

[/ QUOTE ] I completely get what you're saying. But in the first case, I'd go with something along the lines of Something Corporate, maybe Dashboard Confessional. Basically any of the bands in EmoGame. Anything off of Beck's album Sea Change is great too. With the second case, I'd definitely go with Elliiot Smith or maybe some Nick Drake.
