I bet the river for a different reason

1 fold, Hero raises, 3 folds, BB calls.

Flop: (4.40 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.

i guess its ok, but all that hands that call you are better. i think all the hands that fold are worse too...maybe he dragged his Ad to the river or something stupid but i honestly think the river goes check-check MHIG very often.

Yeah, it might be better if I had the Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] or something, because I'm folding 2 better draws that may have missed on the river.

Thought I may fold a crappy pocket occasionally, as well as ace high, which is worth a bet into this pot.

I rarely bet this... maybe if there was a flush draw on the flop, but probably not then either. K hi is good often enough, A hi doesn't fold enough here.
