Default First tourney under my belt, ready for more

Thanks for your help guys, had my first tournament last night and it went off damn near without a hitch. Do to a fatal accident in the city (all of us on the same fire department) my 13 definite people dropped to 7. I got tons of compliments on the table, and the setup etc. The guys have already rsvp'd for next month's tournament.

I thought the first tournament/new table curse got me. I only got one A and zero face cards for the first hour. Things definitely went up from there, and I ended up top of the heap. We all had fun though, and only minor things for me to change for the next one.

Thanks again for your help and tips guys.

Good to hear dude. I remember reading your thread and your idea seemed pretty solid. Winning your first home tourney always feels good too. Keep it up dude.

Take care,
Matt from NJ
