Yes, I saw Passion of the Christ and hated it. Are you shocked because Braveheart is still one of my favorites?

2. American History X (1998)
3. Braveheart (1995)
4. Fight Club (1999)
5. Good Will Hunting (1997)
6. 12 Monkeys (1995)
7. Forrest Gump (1994)
8. Shawshank Redemption (1994)
9. Requiem for a Dream (2000)
10. Pulp Fiction (1994)

I didn't think I'd be getting so much hate over the movies I like and the movies I haven't seen yet. I'm a movie lover (although certainly not a movie buff), and I've seen far more of the greats than the average person. I also have a hell of a DVD collection. When I get a chance, I'll post that so you guys can criticize me more.

It's an okay film. If the second half maintained the quality of the first rather than going into apocalyptic fantasy, I'd probably agree with you.

but as it stands, there are dozens, if not hundreds of better films.

I'm not shocked. Lots of people love Braveheart, and I used to. It has just lost something for me. Not sure why. I like all the movies in your top 10 that I've seen. And I really like #2 and #4.
