Default BB/100 -- What\'s the upper limit?

Many on these pages claim rates of 1-2.
A few, 3.
I know one ring gamer who was north of 4 after a sample in the 100K's.

It's reasonable to assume that the more tables at a time you play, the lower your win rate. And the more selective you are, the higher. So the real question is what's the highest win rate achievable for a reasonable number of tables (4), with at least 5 players/table. With reasonable selection.
At, let's say, $5 limit to the sky.

Note that I deliberately picked BB/100. BB/hr is a whole different animal, largely because hands/hr varies so much between short/ring and # of players.

$5 limit to the sky would indicate that the number would increase as the limit did, but the opposite is true. I don't know of anybody that is winning over 3BB/100 while playing over 4 games........... anybody want to claim that for $5/$10 or above?

For limits below that, sure - I can see somebody playing $3/$6 at 4BB/100, but don't think you are going to see above that.

I assume these are for limit games. In NL, 20x the big blind is often quoted for games up to $200 buy-in. Anybody want to claim higher, even in the $50 or $100?

FWIW, I've never been close to the high-end number playing limit, except at .50/$1 limit (3.5/hr). However, at NL I stay in the 16-17x range.

at 76K hands of NL$25 full ring, I'm at 18.76PTBB/100 4-8 tabling. I could never keep my win rate in limit games to near to 3. This is probably why I haven't played it as much.

Why did it take 76k hands to realise that you must move up to increase your profit?

Waste of time....

And that's why we never really see any legit sample sizes with win rates above 4bb/100 in limit games. It's simply way more profitable to move up in limits.
