Default Bad fold of set?

I think this was a bad fold... but I was sure he had flopped the straight. What do you think? No read.

I think it's okay. He has at least a set here... two pair is possible, but very unlikely.

You're good here more than 50% of the time on the river to make this call. If he flopped a straight I'd pay it off. He's playing from the blind and could easily have flopped 2 pair.

true - I didn't factor he was playing in the blind into my thoughts.

I call this bet on the river. It's hard to put him on a straight because he's raising already on the flop. If he has the higher set then pay him off. Maybe fold if he check calls you until the river and then raises you but that would be the only time I could consider him hitting the straight...that would still be hard though since he couldn't of had more than a 3 to the straight on the flop so a call would be a terrible play. So most likely he has top pair or two pair here. If he has the set you may have a higher set and when he has the higher set you pay him off.

You're getting 3.5 to 1 on the last call. He has 44 probably often enough for you to call, not to mention the possible two pair junk hands. I think it's a call.

Don't post results, and don't fold this river.

Sorta like an Ed Miller SSH limit play where you pay off the river in a big pot, folding is the sucker play.

Don't fold this.

Your raise on the turn was tiny. The 3-bet was tiny. You can't assume these mean a lot of strength.

In addition to the 2-pair hands and 44 the big blind could have, some people play AA like this. You'll see these hands frequently enough to call on the river.
