HU vs. LAG - river play
How's my river play? BB is very LAG and has been making odd bets and raises for the last ten hands I've seen.
Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (8 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is MP2 with T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. 3 folds, Hero raises, 2 folds, SB calls, BB calls. Flop: (6 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players) SB checks, BB bets, Hero raises, SB folds, BB calls. Turn: (5 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls. Re: HU vs. LAG - river play
Sometimes LAGs really like to represent hands. If they really had the 7, they would have CR'ed you instead. I might be apt to raise in this situation, but if this were a passive predictable player that bets with the goods, I'd have to just call it down.

Re: HU vs. LAG - river play
Against a LAG? Raise it.
This kind of bet from that kind of player is rarely anything you don't beat. I would expect he has a ten or a four or a busted draw. He probably won't call with the busted draw of course, but I think you'll get paid off often enough to make raising worth it. |
