Default River value bet? (new to 2/4: MOBS?)

Just moved up to 2/4. 1st table was totally insane. Lots of coming over the top of raises etc. This was about 10 hands into my 2nd session, and at this point I hadn't noticed anything good or bad about the players involved.

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
1 fold, Hero raises, 5 folds, Button calls, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: (8 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB bets, BB calls, Hero raises, Button calls, SB calls, BB calls.

Turn: (8 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, Button folds, SB calls, BB folds.

I'm in trouble to a 6, but there's no evidence of one. Cash, grass or ass: no one draws for free.

River: (10 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: 10 BB

The 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] adds a heck of a lot of coordination to the board, and I check behind on the end. The only hand that pays me off is one held by a moron. Without reads, do we assume moron status and bet? Being c/r on the river makes me throw up in my mouth a little.

I like this...I'm probably a little too weak tight, but I think the only one calling here has us beat. good check.

This is a standard river bet unless the player is one to whom I can't fold to a raise. An unknown I bet. He could be calling you with all sorts of pairs putting you on AK.

I bet/fold this expecting to get called by any 9, any 8, any 7, any 5, smaller pockets, A-high and maybe worse.

Inability to fold on the river is one of the holes in my play. When CRed on the river, I think that I usually manage to convince myself that the pot is big enough that a crying call is worth it. Avoiding this situation is definitely costing me value bets on the river.

Thanks for the advice.

I think bet/fold is ok.
I dont think SB has flush - he bet first in on flop and did not reraise.
6 is also unlikely - he called preflop raise and bet on 4 opponents on flop.
I think, it is middle pair.
