$22, bottom two pair, call push on turn?
Don't have the hand history, but I remember it fairly well.
I've been playing very weak tight lately and am trying to work on that, but is this call a little too much? Level 1 of a $22, stacks are all still roughly at starting size. I have 3s-4h in the BB. Two MP limpers, button calls, SB completes, I check. Flop: Ks-3c-4s. I bet 75, folded to button who flat calls. Turn: 10c. I bet 200, button pushes for ~700 (500 more), Hero calls. In my short time playing SNGs, I've seen a fair number of people make moves like this with something like TP or a draw, but obviously at the same time I don't want to risk all my chips this early, if I fold I'll still have 500 which is enough to work with. |

Re: $22, bottom two pair, call push on turn?
I call this. I play the 22s and agree that this is more often than not top pair or a big draw. Because you have invested ~3/8 of your stack, I think you should call this. Maybe if you still have 800 chips after this hand, I could see laying it down and not wanting to risk your tournament. Actually probably not even then though.
