Default 2 BB hands against same villian

First 2 rotations here, new to the table, absolutely no reads.

Hand 1 - is that river too ugly that I fold to that raise?

Hnad 2 - anyone not bet the flop here?

Both seem standard. Please post 1 hand per thread next time though.

I hate getting raised on hand 1, but I think you have to pay off against an unknown.

Hand 2 is totally standard.

IMO hand 1 is very close. There isn't even any worse 2p hands he could have reasonably made here, and it is going to be pretty tough for him to raise with nothing here. Pot isn't that big. I suspect it's probably -EV if we're not interested in information/whatever metagame exists at 0.50/1.

Hand 2 is standard.

I'm with you regarding Hand1.
Pot is small, him having worse 2 pair is so unlikely.
He could bluff with a missed Ten, but he also pairs up his kicker quite frequently with a T, so he is rather calling.
I'd call here with a set though.

Hand 2: I will usually CR this flop if he's any way aggressive. It's generally the best way to get value from a worse hand. If he's totally LP-P then betting is perfect.

So would you check-raise with an ace too, then?

Against an aggressive player who will bet nearly anything on this flop when you check, then yes, I will checkraise as often as I possible can. With an Ace, absolutely. He will be too embarrassed to fold on the flop with air and will be forced into paying 2 SBs with a worthless holding. He'll never fold pair, but might end up checking behind on the turn/river, but he can't do that if you keep the iniative.
