Not that I know anything but Josh Arieh hasn't cashed in a tourney in more than 6 months (maybe he hasn't been playing any).

Further, he is portrayed in Dan N's blog as a raging gambling addict (as are others).

don't know nothing about arieh, maybe its true, but this is my exact point.

Who is Dan N to be commenting and critiquing in his blog about others gamblings tendencies.

Didnt he himself find himself stuck for something like 1.5 million in 1 session of 4k-8k a couple of weeks ago?

When your annual intake is 4.5 mill in your best year ever, and u gamble 1/3 of it away potentially in 1 evening, even if your Daniel N, i'm sorry but thats playing over your head, and you have no right to blog others as problem gamblers.

And Gus Hansen too good? LOL.

I think the case of Hansen is similar to the AQ test. If you are not capable of realizing that he is a phenomenal NL player then you really are not thinking about the game properly.

Isn't the 4.5 mil number that's been thrown around just from tournament wins? I don't think anybody really knows how much DN or any of the other regulars in the 4K-8K game are winning (or losing) in a given year.

Well guess what? I wasn't talking about his nl game. Even though i'm not impressed with tat either. But i'm talking about him playing in the big game. Which is a mixed game. He is the fish and will go broke!

Being down or up 1milion is a regular ocorrence in that game (as you can tell, simply by reading the blog and seeing Ivey's reaction), and don't pretend to know how much DN makes a year.

daniel himself stated on TV here in toronto that his wins totalled 4.5 mill last year.

now it might very well just be tourney wins, but i doubt that his cash wins would dwarf that.

Being stuck one million is not a regular occurence in the 4k-8k game.

Quoting Barry Greenstein on his comments about Gus Hansen: I play with Gus in side games where one million dollar swings are very rare, yet I have seen Gus get stuck a million and get even in the same session -- three different times!
