Wynn NL tournaments
Has anybody played in one of the Friday $500 at 3pm?
Starting chip counts, # of players, how fast do blinds go up... Thanks for any info. |

Re: Wynn NL tournaments
The tournament costs $540. Satelites are available for $125. Satelite provides T1000 in chips, 15 minute rounds and a blind structure of:
T25-T25 T25-T50 T50-T100 T100-T200 T200-T400 T400-T800 T800-T1600 Note that no satelite ever passes the T200-T400 level. Two seats are awarded. No cash. The tournament provides T3000 in chips. 45 minute rounds and a blind structure of: T25-T50 T50-T100 T100-T200 T100-T200 with $25 ante etc. I put etc. since I can't remember from there. Essentially the ante keeps going up about $25 per level, and the blinds pretty much double, although there are some intermediate rounds. The Friday tournament usually gets between 50 and 70 players. It has been averaging a first place payout in excess of $10K. With 1-49 players, 5 positions are paid. With 50-100 players, 9 positions are paid. Hope this helps. |

Re: Wynn NL tournaments
Was there playing this Friday, saw the 3pm still running at 1:00am with 3 players left. Think they paid down to 9, some must've had a good crowd. Still 10 hours? Monster chip leader--I'm sure there was talk about a chop and he wanted no part of it.
