Default affiliate/poker question

Is promoting poker rooms (offering rake back) Illegal? What are the consequences? Any help here would be greatly appreciated, links, articles, etc...

illegal, depends on what jurisdiction you are talking about. in the US, its a grey area. i have spent the better part of the past year and quite a pretty penny meeting with and looking at the legalities of our internet marketing(rakeback) business.
heres a decent link, this guy is the advisor to Ruth Parasol and this site has some good stuff in it.
