Default Question on BonusWhores.com clearing estimates

Wondering they come up with some of these bonus clearing estimates, specifically ones that look like this:
Paradise Poker:
1/2 5.61 7.63(shorthanded)
2/4 3.89 5.17(shorthanded)

why would the bonus clear at a slower rate playing 2/4 vs. 1/2? they say you have to play 100 raked hands for each $10 in bonus money, so why would it matter whether you played 1/2 or 2/4??

thanks

good question! This is not just paradise too, often the 1/2 level at a site clears quicker than the 2/4 and I don't understand why.

Why don't you ask them at their forum?

At 1/2 they rake first when the pot is $5, at 2/4 they take rake when the pot reaches $20

The pots at 1/2 only need a $5 pot to be raked (2.5 bb) whereas at 2/4 they need to be raked $20 (5 bb).
