I played there last night...the $3 max rake is accurate with the additional $1 coming out of the small blind for the bad beat jackpot. They said tourneys were coming in about two weeks. Also, they said they were going to rennovate the old room and move back in there eventually...which is okay with me because I like both rooms about equal (the new room is nicer, but smokier).

Basically it seems like the new management has decided to make things better for the player and also advance compete with the new casinos coming in (the new Firelake, and the new Goldsby).

Also, I love the new 1/2 NL $100-max buy-in. They will do really well once OU is back in session too, because most college kids didn't like the 2/5 because it took too much money to buy-in.

How are you guys set on dealer's? My wife and I are dealer's. We have worked in Mississippi and now currently Vegas. We are both from Norman. Now that OKla. is opening up we are looking for a move back in Dec. I hear Fire Lake and Goldsby are building some big ones. I hear Fire Lake will open around Feb. Is that true? When is the scheduled opening for Goldsby? Do you know if they both are planning on having card rooms? size / # tables? Hopefully with auto shufflers. It's kinda funny I left Okla. in the early 90's to become a dealer down in Biloxi, Ms. and now they are gambling right in my old back yard. Another thing, Do any of the current OKC area casino's spread a regular red chip limit game? I know that with espn and all that no-limit is the game of choice especially among the younger crowd. Several years ago you would never find a no-limit holdem game. Maybe pot limit omaha but that was about it. I heard that red chip limit games are regulary spread in catoosa and at the winstar. But how about the OKC area? The biggest I have heard of so far is a 6-12 game at Lucky Star. So far I have heard of card rooms in Newcastle, Thunderbird, Lucky star and the 2 others being built (goldsby/Fire Lake) Any other's I don't know about? PS. How's the commission on 21 working out? 21 dealer's making any $$$? Cali. used to do the same thing but they dropped it after about 10 years. I look for OK. to do the same after everyone gets tired of being ripped off. Thanks again
