Default stu unger story

Hello, I was flipping through the t.v. tonight and spotted HIGH ROLLER, The Stu Unger story on starz ed (261) in so.ca. at 11:00 tonight. Don't know if everyone in here has already seen it but I'm definetely checking it out. Jay

I understand that you were at home when you watched a show about poker, but this probably isn't the right forum. Maybe the best forum for discussing your television plans is the tv forum.

Saw that, not the best acting, but I wanted to see the contorted true story. Not bad, definitely a rental. They did a good job on the WSOP scene. Not really about Poker too much, more showing a gambling problem, etc.

It's not bad, not as focused on poker as you might want though. More about his addictions as stated. Some hands are on there, like a bluff against KK which is fun to watch.

However, Vince Van Patten is in it who is terrible, albeit for like 5 minutes. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

I thought it was mildly entertaining. I knew he won the WSOP three times but nobody ever seems to mention him when talking about the greats of all time. The production did seem cheap to me...

Just my 2 cents.
