Default AA on a blind steal, c/r in a protected pot

3/6, 5 handed at the moment. SB is very loose and very passive, maybe 70% VPIP. Haven't seen him get tricky yet, no idea how he'd play a monster, but he'll call with basically anything that has a whiff of a hope of a chance. BB is a TAG, maybe 17/10 or so. Seems decently aggressive and knowledgeable, not sure of too much else.

2 Fold, Hero raises on the button with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
SB semi-cold calls, BB calls.

3 to the flop for 6 SB.

Flop is 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

SB checks, BB bets out, Hero raises, SB cold-calls, BB calls.

3 to the turn for 6 BB.

Turn is 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

SB checks, BB checks, I bet(?), SB calls, BB raises, <font color="red">Hero...? </font>

Yuck! I don't know how I feel about this. BB is a TAG and he may feel that your hand is much weaker because you raised on the button. I have trouble getting away from AA in this hand. I would probably cc the turn and get to showdown as cheaply as possible. This may be a leak in my game though.

What's the issue? Are you asking whether you should call or 3-bet? Folding AA in a blind-steal scenario is hardly an option because I've seen tag's getting out of line here with Ace-high or ducks.

If he has ducks, OP is drawing to two outs.

I like a calldown. If a club comes on the river you can probably fold. If it blanks I would call. He may have A5 but likely does not have a 7.

I don't know that this is a auto call down. If TAG has a five or PP I think he donks the turn looks like a pure value check/raise to me with SB paying off in the middle.

Also alot of the hands the BB would check/raise a protected pot on the turn with that we are ahead of he probably would have three bet pre flop with against a steal raise.

If he has ducks we are drawing to four outs not two.

Couple of further questions...

Is it possible to put BB on a range here?
How many outs do I have, approx?
How often do you think I'm still good here?
Finally, if I had raised from EP or MP and the action was the same, easy(ier) fold?
