I think, you played the hand fine. Capping flop is silly IMO. He can have a bigger PP. On the turn you have 10 outs to the probable nuts (although a heart may give him flush, so even if we discount 2 outs, you still have 8). You need 1:6 to call having 8 outs, the pot lays you almost 1:9. So it's a definite call. The river is standard. NH.

My first look at the flop and the whole hand was 'what the hell', but then I realised I liked it, I liked it alot. I'd almost give you a....Standard
[thats seems like the SS Compliment]

I fold too, unless the blinds are loose.

Doesn't capping this flop set you up to lose 2BB's on the turn when you get check-raised by an overpair? Or is your plan to fold to the check-raise and hope to fold villain out of his overcards so they don't get to see the river?

Looks like you have odds despite the double-flush draw, so it's not a loose call. You are good enough of the time here that I don't hate a raise, but the flush possibilities make it less likely for you to fold out overcards, and he may be more likely to think you are FOS and 3-bet if he has you beat.

Note: I am very rarely cold-calling with 66-22 in LP expecting 4 opponents (I assume you thought one of the blinds would come along). I'd prefer to have another limper or cc'er in front before I commit to this pot.

if cold calling this preflop is standard, then i have something wrong with my game.

I don't "like" the pre-flop call, but I would have done it, too. I mean, who likes cold-calling two bets this hand?

EDIT: I believe SSHE recommends it, too, now that I think of it.

Both SSH and HEFAP recommend calling a raise PF as long as there are at least 1-2 other callers after the raiser. I would feel better about this call if there were 2 callers between me and the raiser, but in a typical 3/6 game I think this is a fine call.
