I´d much rather be closing the action on the flop aswell as you can see what the other guy do, asuming the pfr bets after you check. This means you can trap him when you have a good hand and sometimes get away from a marginal one cheaper if he raise so it´s two cold to you.

Oh, I was a little unclear.

I agree I'd rather be in position with this hand, but I don't mind our position here. I don't think our position in that hand is a good reason to be getting out of the pot.

I'm really trying to figure out how to get myself up into the 27~28 range .

23/17. That 27-28 has never apealed to me. Why is everyone pushing for it?

1) J8o SB after one limp: I fold this, because if the BB raises I won't be able to call.

2) K2s in BB after limp and SB raise: Call.

3) J8o limp vs BB raise and limper fold: fold.
4) 98s in MP after limp: fold. This could get expensive.

5) A6o on the button after limp: fold.

6) K7s in BB vs 2 limps: check.

7) 98s first in MP: This for me is close between a raise and a fold. I need a feel for the table conditions to be able to answer.

8) A9 in SB vs raise and coldcall: easy fold.

9) A5s in MP vs limp: I limp after here. If I was in a later position I would raise.

10) A8s vs limp, raise and coldcall: call.

11) JTo in CO vs limp: raise or fold, depends on my mood.

12) Q5o in SB vs limp: fold.

13) T8 in SB vs 2 limpers: fold.

14) J8o first in from SB: raise.

15) 98 vs limp and SB raise: fold.

On hand eight, would you care to share your notes on the players? If you do, please also tell us if they are from this session or a previous one.

I also express my thanks. This will benefit many.

*grunch*

1) J8o SB after one limp: fold J8o getting 5-1 OOP

2) K2s in BB after limp and SB raise: fold K2s getting 5-1 in position if button overcalls and doesn't LRR.

3) J8o limp vs BB raise and limper fold: lol you call J8o pf. oh dear my first post is gonna get raked then. I guess you have to call the raise, or you're the guy who complete-folds PF.

4) 98s in MP after limp: fine i guess. I'd rather muck PF but this is ok.

5) A6o on the button after limp: fold fold fold!!!!!!

6) K7s in BB vs 2 limps: check it boyy

7) 98s first in MP: fold 5 handed. consider raising 4

8) A9 in SB vs raise and coldcall: fold, you're risking domination and a payoff of a 2nd best hand. Call A9s

9) A5s in MP vs limp: limp along, if you raise you may fold out the next 2 but the blinds will call

10) A8s vs limp, raise and coldcall: call

11) JTo in CO vs limp: fold

12) Q5o in SB vs limp: FOLD!

13) T8 in SB vs 2 limpers: i call T8o here.

14) J8o first in from SB: fold you have a fetish for J8o.

15) 98 vs limp and SB raise: fold i think but a call is ok

Ok just stoved the J8o versus a random hand (so this only applies to first in as SB considering a raise).

You have 51.5% equity, so i still dont think a raise is good - risking 1.5BB to win 1. even with folding equity i dont like carrying on OOP.
