Betting patterns.....Help needed.

when playing in an online MTT i'm trying to watch carefully other players betting patterns. when in and out of a hand. However I don't really know how to succesfully take down notes that are going to help me later in the tourney.

Can anyone suggest a good format for making notes ?

are there any previous posts about this as well that i can view. Can't seem to find any on search.
