Default \"In the beginning, there was Flying Spaghetti Monster\"

I don't usually post in this forum, but I got a kick out of this article published today in the St. Pete Times (Tampa) regarding the issue of intelligent design being taught alongside evolution in classrooms.

What the article, and many other opponents of ID fail to see is that design is aying that there may be a designer. Not who or what, just the possibility that life may have been designed.

You're right, and he is saying the Spaghetti monster is a designer so it isn't really an alternative theory.

An alternative to ID and equally credible, is that we weren't designed, the universe was layed from the rear end of the great chicken overlord.
