Default San Diego CA

I am going to San Diego CA this weekend, and would like to know the names of a couple of card rooms in the area. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Try Oceans 11. Its not in SD but in Oceanside, about a half hour north of SD. Very nice room, good staff, great food. Games are good with almost any limit you are comfortable with.

Barona and Viejas are both in San Diego. Havent been to either one, but i know Barona is brand new, so it must be nice. Have fun!

What part of San Diego are you going to be in? Oceans 11 is just off of I-5, about 30 minutes north. Viejas is off of I-8, about 30 minutes east.

If you do a search there was a very similar thread a few weeks ago. Assuming you are 21, go to Oceans 11. If not then go to Viejas and pick me up on the way

Baronas is brand new with a large card room and plasma TVs all over the place. You probably won't have to wait at all to get a seat since the room is so large. Last time I went there was a 100 or 200 NL running. Just make sure you don't play at a table with too many regulars.

Doesnt barona really suck for limit? Like only go as high as 4/8?

Barona gets a pretty loose 8/16 game going on weeknights and on the weekends. Lists can get really long, especially for NL. Real nice casino plus it's 18+ so a lot of Ace-happy kids.
