A9s
villian is laggy - he'll checkraise with all sorts of crap and lead the subsequent streets. he's basically the player type that owns me everytime.

Re: A9s
Looks pretty good. I don't think there's much value in a river raise since he probably would have raised a K preflop. And the other streets are standard.

Re: A9s
This all depends on your read, but I see tons of dumb LAGs who will pay off a river raise with worse pairs far more often than they'll have a 3 here.

Re: A9s
I raise this river. Most of the time they got total crap, which they don't fold to a raise.

Re: A9s
I raise this river. A king or any pair will call you. I also don't want them to bet the river in the future when I check the turn...
Thanks, Guido |

Re: A9s
Why doesn't he have a 3? He could easily have a 3.

[/ QUOTE ] Note what I said about the river depends a lot on specific numbers and how bad he is. I assumed since you say "he owns you" that he is more of a tricky thinking lag than a total donk. If he is more on the donk side then I like a river raise more. However if he can read hands at all and make obvious folds then there is no value to a raise as he will almost always have either a 3, a bluff, or a 7, and be folding his bluffs and 7's to a raise. |
