Have you ever had a bad nightmare? You know that feeling of hopelessness, of despair? What if you couldn't wake up from that nightmare, and that nightmare was your reality?

I find it petty that you didn't try to seek help before you pulled the trigger.

Unless you have a terminal disease or injury you can 99% of the time recover (to some extent) from just about anything. Suicide is not a solution but rather a cop out. It solves nothing but leaves a mess (literally, financially, emotionally etc) for others to clean up after your gone. This is why it's considered selfish. If you have no one that cares for you or will have to deal with your mess that you left behind then it's not selfish, just stupid. Your right to make the decision just a dumb decision to make.
