Anyone interested in custom chips?
I found a US based company that will do custom chips for about 50 cents apiece but they need a volume order (10,000 chips). Is anyone interested in doing a group buy of custom chips? PLease PM me if interested. I am also looking for design ideas so feel free to post them here. Thanks.

Re: Anyone interested in custom chips?
what type of chips are they? you'd probably get a decent response if you posted a blank or sample chip

Re: Anyone interested in custom chips?
Here's some info from the company. I will post some samples in the next post.
Using state of the art printing equipment we are able to put any graphic image, design, photo or logo onto our 11.5gm composite poker chips. Chips are available in 5 colors. Available with or without lamination. Choice of lamination and chip substrate We also offer all clay custom chips for a small additional fee. Our chips ar made to accept vinyl substrate AND lamination. These are NOT Office Depot 1 inch paper labels you stick on a chip!!! |

Re: Anyone interested in custom chips?
I've seen those, they're barely worth .05 cents each. A complete rip off at .50 cents. These are even worse than the dice chips -- stack worse and sound more metalic.
I bought some a while back for .06 cents / chip and was still unhappy with them. Sold to the first person that said "nice chips". |

And these guys are making you buy 10,000 of those POS's to get the 50c "Deal"? Run away |

Re: Anyone interested in custom chips?
They will print on any chip we want - even Nexgen.
Unlike most " custom poker chips" which are nothing more then someone buying 1 inch PAPER stickers at office depot and printing them on their 99.00 Lexmark printer, our images are printed using a $30,000.00 1440 x 1440 DPI printer onto permanent vinyl substrate. They are then put through a $10,000 lamination process which bonds the image and lamination to the chip. The image cannot wear, and the image is virtually impossible to remove from the chip over time. By using a clay/abs composite blank, the chip will not appreciably wear either. As of 2/05 we can now print on the NEXGEN series of chips. |

Thinly veiled self-promotion of an inferior product. I don't care WHAT kind of chip you put these labels on, 50c per chip to put a sticker on it is silly.... And if you're going to try and sell your stickers, you shouldn't be using such crappy samples.... just my $.02 |
