Default Wacky 1/2 AJo Hand

I was playing some 1/2 last night for the 1st time to get a feel for the tables. I was just limping into lots of pots (no raising preflop) when this hand came up. What do you all make of this? No reads, table was real loose with an avg. pot of about 9 BB.

I've seen this before, and I pretty know what is going on here. How should I play this: bet or check? Also, what should I be prepared for on the river.

looks like he's going crazy with an OESD, either KQ (probably KQ) or 89. i'd bet and then look out on the river for any cards that complete the straight and kings and queens

What do you put villain on?

You have to bet this turn, don't let an OESD draw for free. If he raises, he's probably got JT or 33. If he smooth calls, bet the river and fold to a raise with a A or 7.

if he check/raises the turn i put him on JT or a set, but i would be pretty sure he wasnt drawing. if hes got JT you're drawing to 3 outs, if he's got a set then you're already toast. that's why i would fold to a check/raise

theres a lot more cards out there that could make the straight than just aces and sevens. aces and nines for KQ. queens and sevens for 89. eights and kings for Q9.

it sems like your behind. im not sure if this is weak tight, but a check on the turn might not be a bad idea. it seems like any card from ace to 7 is a bad card except for the two jacks. without a read im probably gonna check here.

I see what you all mean when you say that people @ 1/2 try to be tricky but are just foolish.

I checked the turn with the intention of folding to a river bet. The river was the J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] , and I called him on the riv. He had TT for a boat.
