There is a Cutoff to Main Event
A top dealer at the Rio emphatically told me yesterday that the MainEvent will be cutoff at 6600 people, and said that there are 2350 entries as of now. Someone else said they thought the latter number was more like 3500. As of yesterday there were no $1,000 plus satellites to qualify-- all the Rio satellites were 125 or, lately 175. Maybe that will change tomorrow as folks start arriving-- I was hoping to try to enter that way as opposed to flying back out on the come the day or two before the ME.
