Does a word even exist that offends men as much the "B" or "C" words offend women?

I once took offense to being called a jerk, since it seemed like an unconventional choice, given the contemporary insults of our times.

I dunno, I'm probably in deep. Damn.

if my boyfriend ever calls me that then I know I probably deserve it. I'm immune to most of the name calling stuff anyway. Still I can't believe OP called his girlfriend a bitch. Bad move unless she's as laid back as me.

I've since apologized, and things are now all good. It was in the heat of the moment and the first (and last) time I've said it in almost 11 years of dating/marriage.

One thing I don't understand, and hopefully being a lady yourself you'd be able to shed some light on this, is why it's less of a crime to say "Quit bitching" or "You're always bitching about..." as opposed to labeling them a flat-out bitch?
