Possible misplay of flopped trip queens

No read on button, but my initial feeling is that he is 3 betting with AK AQ etc. When the river comes down for whatever reason i start fearing KK. I'm thinking I should have just pushed through on this one the whole way. Thoughts?

Given your initial read I bet the flop. I don't back off on this on any street.

Bet the river. He has two pair here most of the time.

Edit: didn't notice you capped preflop and not him. Bet the flop as well.

The river card makes it more likely your initial read, not your latter read, is correct.

I concur with Goode Mastre Miles. This would, among other things, give you a read on what I'd be more worried about, AA.
