Seconded. I watched a fair bit and what struck me is how many pots you won uncontested with continuation bets. Tough luck with the ladies at the end.

just wanted to see a few hand histories since I didn't see the game.

I wonder if it was due to his play or due to his reputation - it'd be hard to call/raise continuation bets from Barry Greenstein, but not if I didn't know it was him.

I'm listening to him on the stars radio broadcast. He was surprised about how solid people were playing vs him. He was taking advantage of it by raping their blinds. He also mentioned that hes used to people playing more aggressively against him in live tournaments.

What I meant was his reputation seemed to win him a ton of pots. Look I am not a world class multi player or anything but people kept defending their big blinds only to check fold to his .5 (or whatever it was) continuation bet. I was like lead out once or check raise his ass and see what he does. One person put a nice reraise all in preflop from the sb when he tried to steal the short stacks bb.

But what I noticed was how smootly he kept his foot on the pedal, stealing more than his fair share. I mean we all know how to do it but watching it in action was really good. Its hard to articulate, but he seemed to do it just the right amount to keep taking them down uncontested.

And that was with him losing thee coin flips in the couple hours I watched.

One thing I think as I am playing someone good is you are not playing [insert name here], rather you are playing the cards that player has. Not sure if that makes sense but what I mean is he gets his fair share of crap just like you or me.

Edit to say I just read the post above, I didn't hear the webcast but that was what I was trying to get at.

As an analogy, I sometimes defend with crap in the bb in a limit game against a steal raise, but I only defend with crap if I am willing to put a move on (like a check raise, lead the flop no matter what on a ragged flop) a reasonable amount of the time. If I am not I will just fold my garbage.

i did get to see him win a big pot by raising in position with 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and catching two fives on the flop. he ended up with a boat by the river. i think the hand was against [crip17].
