Default a bad hand

PokerStars 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

I also call, but I would have folded pre-flop from MP on this one.

Easy fold. I don't think I call the flop either - I think it's a raise/fold situation. I find myself thinking everything is a raise/fold on the flop these days though.

i'm with the dude, if you want to play past the flop, raise it there.

Fold preflop next time.

Like everyone else said, fold pre-flop.
That being said, I would raise the flop.
On the turn you should call (you have 2 8's for trips, 3 J's and 3 7's for gutshot straights--I'm ignoring the J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] that puts a possible flush on the board). I think you have ~8 outs here and I would definitely call the turn bet.
