Default Houston at Seattle ... is the under the play? Thoughts?

In looking at the numbers for the game tonight, I'm not terribly moved one way or the other on the nine point line (my instincts tell me it's too many points though). I am, however, intrigued by the UNDER 44.5. Here's why:

1. Houston's OFFENSE sucks! In four games, the Texans have notched a stellar 44 points. Granted, those were four solid defensive teams they played, but still I'm not seeing any reason to think they score over 14-17 points here on the road against a middle of the road defense.

2. Seattle's WR core is depleted with both Engram and Jackson out with injuries. You're going to see LOTS and LOTS of Shaun Alexander, which means a lot of clock being run off quickly. Plus, knowing that Seattle is going to run Alexander frequently, Houston will key on the run.

I'm just not seeing any reason to expect this game to go over...my plays:

Houston/Seattle UNDER (2 units)
Houston +9 (1 unit)

Thoughts?

I'm with you on the under. If I were to take a side I'd go with a SEA/IND teaser.
