AK UTG+1
Normal 5/10 Party table. Table is not too loose or too tight, Goldilocks would say it was 'just right'
I'm UTG+1 with AKo. UTG folds, I raise, 3 callers, SB folds, BB calls. Pot $52. Flop Q73, two diamonds. Neither your Ace or King is a diamond. BB checks to you. What do you do and why? |

Re: AK UTG+1
The flop is uncoordinated, and unless someone else has the same hand I do, they can't have two overcards. So, yeah, I am tempted to bet and try to represent the queen.
Still, four opponents is a lot, and since they're not especially loose, I'm thinking there's a pretty good chance a queen is out there. Also, they are a little loose, and I'm wondering how good my chances are of pushing someone off of a pocket pair, with no ace or king on the board. I guess I'm saying I would check. I'm not sure what's best, though. |

Re: AK UTG+1
This is the kind of spot where I like to bet OTB or maybe one off with the intention of taking a free card on the turn, but as OOP as you are I check-call.

Re: AK UTG+1
check call sounds good. if board were paired i might bet. if hand were four way and that was the board i might bet.
