Re: KQ two overs, OE straightdraw
Why 3-bet the turn? Why bet the river?

Game seems fairly loose... I have 14 outs by my calculations, but I'm new so enlighten me... [/ QUOTE ] Out is used to calculate whether or not to call a bet. But to determine whether to make a bet or raise, you use your pot equity which isn't high enough here. Maybe someone could explain this better, but try to calculate out whether or not you'll win more or less by putting 3-bets on the turn with a 14-outer. Betting the river is silly, you only have K-high. He's not folding for one more bet. |

This might sound retarded, but I was trying to make him think that maybe I hit 3 jacks.

Re: KQ two overs, OE straightdraw
Turn 3-bet is horrible. Leading the turn is even debatable...I like check/call. In any case, the river play is absurd. FOLD.
If Button folds to that bet after the previous action, it's a misclick. |

Re: KQ two overs, OE straightdraw
14outs is about breakeven from the flop, around 2/1 against for the river, but 2 of you kQ outs put 3to the flush, so they aren't prob worth the full amount
HU you improve to the best hand a good % of the time, but nowhere near enough to be 3betting the turn |
