Default Cardplayer magazine - one big ad?

Hello,

I have been reading cardplayer for about 1.5 years now. Does it seem to anyone else like it is one big advertisement? Some of the columnists are really good, but a lot of it just seems fishy.

I kinda like the ads myself. Personally, it's the articles that go something like "I have no real poker content but let me tell you a little about whatever I'm trying to promote" It's the ads in the articles that should be banned!

Compared to the latest issue of All-In (which was more than 50% ads), Cardplayer is practically Consumer frickin' Reports.

I'm pretty sure that's what the OP was talking about in the first place.

I agree with you that the ads in the articles need to stop. The advertisements themself are just fine, its some of the "articles" that I have issues with. There are a number of great writers at Cardplayer, but some of the columns are getting a bit questionable.
