Default hand quizzes

No these are not real hands. Just pain in the ass examples of what to do when in this situation.

Assume full 10 player game, lets say 10/20

----------------------
Assume MP1 is calls any position and any raise with 2 suited, connectors, Ax, pairs, or 2 face cards. They raise when they have a hand, call down with middle and bottom pair. the raise/reraise with AA-JJ, AK, and occasionally TT-88. Occasionally bluff... just enough.

#1
MP1 calls, Hero raises with JcJd, All fold the one MP1 calls.

Flop: Kc 8s 3d MP1 checks, Hero bets
Turn: Th MP1 checks, Hero bets, MP1 raises.

Call, raise, or fold and why?

----------------------
#2
MP1 calls, Hero raises with AsAc, All fold the one MP1 calls.

Flop: 7d 6d Js MP1 chekcs, Hero bets
Turn: 9d MP1 checks, Hero bets, MP1 raises.

Call, raise, or fold and why?
If you continue and MP1 bets the river do you call?

----------------------
#3
MP1 calls, Hero raises with AcJd, All fold the one MP1 calls.

Flop: Ad 8s 3h MP1 checks, Hero bets
Turn: 5c MP1 checks, Hero bets, MP1 raises.

Call, raise, or fold and why?
If you continue and MP1 bets the river do you call?

----------------------
#4

Flop: Ac 5s 3d MP1 checks, Hero bets, MP1 raises

Call, raise, or fold and why?

If you call or raise and he calls...
What do you do on the turn if he bets again?

----------------------
#5

Flop: Tc 5s 3d MP1 checks, Hero bets, MP1 raises, Hero reraises, MP1 Caps
Turn: 8h MP1 Bets, Hero????

Call, raise, or fold and why? What do you do on the river if he bets again?

Default Re: hand quizzes

i'll take a stab at these. its kindof hard answering these becuase you say he "bluffs just enough" but that doesn't give much info.

hand 1 :

i call here and pay off a river bet.
the T gave a lot of draws without completing any, and there are a whole range of hands QJ JT QT AT J9 T9 etc, that he could have here.

hand 2:

i call here and call a non diamond river. the straight draws completed here are few and far between, and its hard to put villian on 85 or 8T. you could raise and fold to a cap, but i dont think that accomplishes much.

hand 3:

this post is making me feel like a major calling station. only if i dont think he'd make this line with AT or A9 then i think i can fold here.

hand 4:

if he thinks i've made a play on him before, or if he thinks i'm aggressive/ or he takes shots when ace flops, i'll 3 bet and have that be the last money i put in the pot unless i spike a J. if i've been showing down winners and he's been passive, i think i can fold JJ here

hand 5:

call/ call and cry when he shows you TT. the amount of times i've seen donks try and run you over with AK thinking its a monster makes its okay i think.

hand 6:

3 bet if i think it will give me a free turn. otherwise i probably call flop and a non scary turn.

// im curious how right/wrong these are

I fold here as this typical opponent as they almost always put you on AK, and don't think they would c/r someone with AK only a straight draw. I think he beats a pair of kings, so I'm drawing to 2 outs. Fold.

----------------------

This board fits the profile for a turn c/r semi-bluff for MP1. I call this down as it's too scary to three-bet and I want to see a showdown here.

#3
Raise here. He loves his aces -- lets make him pay. Call the river if he comes out betting. Because he loves his aces he'll put you on a big pair he can beat.

#4
I fold here because he loves his aces, showing aggression on the flop.

#5
No obvious draws for the cap, I'm thinking something like AT. I may call, call to induce the bluff.

#6
Fold, going nowhere here.
