I think you have to resraise that turn

needs a bigger bet on the flop - at least pot and maybe more.

turn bet is weak - come out min for the pot.

river, as played, i would call. yeah he mightve made his straight or less likely flush, but he's betting $15 into a $35 pot.

Reraise to as much as you think he will call on the Turn. Call River.

What is the logic behind calling on the Turn?

Bet more on flop. Bet more on turn. His raise here could mean many things given your bet sizes, but as you played it I push the turn here.

When the made str8 flops and I catch middle set in EP with 4 players trying to catch something I know somebody has at least a str8 draw. I'm going to either c/c this down and fold when the another str8 card hits, or the back door flush, or I'm fighting for this pot.

Personally I'm naturally agro. I fire an overbet of $7-8 at the flop. If BB calls and checks it to me on the turn I'm firing my second barrel. With a pot size of ~$20 I'll look at my stack of ~$40 and realize that a pot sized bet commits me, so I'll push. This eliminates implied odds for a draw. If I'm betting into a made str8 then its the same as betting into a higher set. I just can't get away from this hand when it's checked to me on the flop.
