Default OIC 3 Day 30 Winners and Top Placers & Wrap Up

Congratulations to the following people who are the top 10 on the leader board for this final day of the OIC:

1. Pokernoob - $2200.3
2. Mackas – $2069.75
3. SWORDFISH - $533
4. trumpman84 – $370.61
5. Tex Murphy - $237.6
6. beta77 - $220.68
7. Michael J. Sykes - $192.02
8. xxx - $184.55
9. Mike Haven - $181.39
10. Quicklearner - $165.24

Prizes
trumpman84 takes the $50 prize for being next on the leader board (SWORDFISH had it three days in a row) as well as the $50 prize for the biggest balance increase ($68).

konions takes the $50 prize with a 67 place jump in rank. (note that this would be from yesterday as today isn’t over yet)

Again, there may have been higher jumps in balance and rank shown, but would not have been taken into account due to incorrect declarations etc.

Prize winner accounts have been credited as well as BR refunds for qualifying players. If anyone is wanting to claim their refund, please go to the following page – www.gamingclubpoker.com/oicrefund and enter your details.

The final prize of $50 for rank jump for the remainder of today will be credited on Monday, and we will also be soliciting feedback as to when the freeroll for participants reaching the 1/2 level should take place.

Just a short message in closing to say thanks to everyone who participated. We hope that you enjoyed it (despite the bugs sometimes ). Much thanks to Mike, Jason & HavanaBanana for all the help, having us host it again and especially to those of you that rose to the challenge and reached the targets or achieved some personal poker goals.

We’ll do something a little more in depth on our experience watching the challenge progress on Monday tho. Have a good weekend all!

Thanks! It's been fun, even though I had very inconsistent success.

Looking forward to any future events similar to this....

Sorry about not posting earlier, it's been a little crazy with this new bonus and all

pc in NM was the winner of the rank jump, with a total of 33 places jumped.

We'd also like to give a hearty thanks again to Mike, Jason & HavanaBanana for all the help in getting this going. It's really not an easy task to put the OIC together and these gentleman were very happy to give of their time and expertise to help us in hosting it.

All in all, it was great fun for us to host it again and watching the roller coaster ride of alot of the participants was, quite frankly, nerve wracking! We've seen close to infinite amounts of patience and perserverance being exercised to soften the blows of the big swings up and down the limits and some classy play too.

It was also great to see Mackas rocket to the 2K mark in 6 short days with Pokernoob hot on his heels. SwordFish started out slow but started to make his climb up the rankings closer to the end of the challenge as he did last year. We're not discounting anyone else in the challenge who played hard - well done to you - it's just that we weren't able to watch everybody play of course.

We hope that everyone had fun and that you took something away from this challenge and we think that the participants and organizers/contributors to the event deserve a big round of applause.

Thanks again all!
